Friends, Jaipur is a very lovely and beautiful city in Rajasthan. Its beautiful palaces, massive forts, and stunning views attract everyone. Millions of tourists from both India and abroad come here to visit. So, let's start from the very beginning and learn how to reach here. First, let's talk about trains. Train travel is the most pleasant and affordable way to travel. You'll find direct trains from every major station to reach here. So, you can easily reach here by train. If you want to come by flight, Jaipur also has an international airport. You can easily come by flight as well. Regarding buses, if you want to come by bus, you'll find direct buses from nearby cities and states. You'll also find many private bus services to reach here. The main bus stand here is the Sindhi Camp Bus Stand. Private, government, and all types of tour and travel buses drop you off here. So, now that we've reached Jaipur, let's find out where you should stay. Friends, you'll find hotels all over Jaipur, but if you want budget-friendly and good hotels, you can stay near the railway station or the Sindhi Camp bus stand. Regarding hotels here, normal hotels start from ₹600, while you can find very good AC rooms in the ₹800 to ₹1000 budget range. If you can get a room, let's find a nice one and relax for a while. Now, let's talk about where you can visit in Jaipur and how many days you should plan for your trip.
Friends, if you arrive between 10:00 and 11:00 AM, you can plan a two-day and one-night trip. In this time, you can explore Jaipur very well. Alternatively, you can also plan a three-day and two-night trip. For getting around, you can use auto-rickshaws, taxis, e-rickshaws, scooters, or tour packages. Taxis charge between ₹3000 and ₹4000 for two days to take you to all the places, while auto-rickshaws charge ₹500 to ₹600 per day. If you want to travel cheaply, you can use e-rickshaws or auto-rickshaws to get from one place to another. They charge ₹10 to ₹20 per trip and will comfortably take you to all the places. You can also rent a scooter here for ₹400 to ₹500. A driving license and Aadhaar card are required for renting a scooter. So, let's find out the best way to explore Jaipur and where you can visit.
First, we'll go to Hawa Mahal. From Sindhi Camp bus stand, it's just a ₹20 fare. We have now reached Hawa Mahal. Friends, Hawa Mahal is a five-story, incredibly beautiful building designed like a royal crown. This lovely palace was built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. There is an entry ticket of ₹50, and students can go up to the fifth floor. The views of Jaipur from here are stunning. You can see the City Palace, Jantar Mantar, and Nahargarh Fort from here. There are small windows for ventilation, which is why it's called Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). It's a very beautiful place; you should definitely visit. After spending one to two hours here,
we will now head to the City Palace, which is within walking distance. It is located right here.
There is a large complex with parking facilities available. Friends, we have now arrived at the ticket counter of the City Palace. The entry ticket here costs ₹200. This beautiful palace was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, the founder of Jaipur city, in 1730 AD. You will find many things to see here. You can see the Four Gates for Four Seasons. There is a very beautiful assembly hall here. You can visit the art gallery and see many lovely and beautiful things, and you can also buy them. There is a garden here where you can see many types of plants. Besides this, you can also visit the Royal Assembly and the Weapons Gallery, where the weapons of kings and all the items used in warfare are kept. After spending one to two hours here,
we will now go to Jantar Mantar. Jantar Mantar is located right opposite the City Palace. Its ticket counter is also located here. The entry ticket here costs ₹200. Friends, Jantar Mantar is an astronomical observatory built by Sawai Jai Singh II around 1730. This beautiful observatory has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. This vast observatory has 14 major instruments with which time can be measured very accurately. You can also predict eclipses, get information about the planets in the solar system, and observe the movement and position of stars. Instruments that provide information about all the zodiac signs are also present here. If you want to hire a guide here, you should definitely do so. Hiring a guide will give you interesting information about this place. Friends, the instruments here will amaze you. By looking at these instruments, you can imagine how great our Indian people truly were, who built such a large and accurate observatory.
So, after visiting and learning about this place, we will now go to visit Jal Mahal, which is located 5 km from here. At the entry gate, you will see the king's elephant ride and procession. The king is in front, and his servants are behind him, dancing and playing music. This scene is worth seeing and you will like it very much. Friends, Jal Mahal is located in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. This beautiful Jal Mahal was constructed... This beautiful Jal Mahal, built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, is nestled amidst towering mountains, and the views are absolutely stunning. Its beauty is enhanced even further by the lights in the evening. It gets very crowded here in the evening, so you can visit then if you wish.
After visiting here, we will head to Jaipur's most famous place, Amer Fort, also known as Amber Palace. Surrounded by the Aravalli Hills, this magnificent fort offers breathtaking views. There are two entry gates to the fort. One is accessible via stairs, called the Suraj Pol, and the other is a road that goes around the back, allowing you to reach the top by car or scooter. This entry gate is called the Chand Pol. This vast and grand fort was built in the 16th century by Raja Man Singh, and later expanded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh and then Mirza Jai Singh. The entry ticket costs ₹2. The ticket counter is located right in front. Upon entering the fort, you'll find a lovely temple dedicated to the goddess right in front. You can offer your prayers here. After entering through the Singh Pol, we will reach the upper level. The Diwan-i-Aam (Hall of Public Audience) is located right in front, where the king would listen to the grievances of the common people. Many movies have been filmed here. The views from here are incredibly special and will surely captivate your heart. The Ganesh Pol gate is also located in front, where an idol of Lord Ganesha is installed. After entering through the Ganesh Pol, we will arrive at the most beautiful courtyard of the fort. Here, you can see the world's largest Sheesh Mahal (Hall of Mirrors). Made of tiny pieces of glass, this Sheesh Mahal is truly beautiful and enchanting. Be sure to take some lovely photos here. The Diwan-i-Khas (Hall of Private Audience) and the Sukh Mahal are also located nearby. There is also a secret tunnel from Amer Palace to Jaigarh Fort. After exploring this complex, we will move on to the Man Singh Palace. This courtyard is also quite large. You can go upstairs via the stairs and explore further. Friends, you can visit Amer Palace.
It takes you three to four hours to explore this area. After exploring here, we'll come out and go down, and then we'll head to Jaigarh Fort. Auto-rickshaw drivers charge between ₹600 and ₹700 for a reserved trip to Jaigarh Fort and Nahargarh Fort. After showing you around both these places, they drop you off near Jal Mahal. Jaigarh Fort is located on a hilltop. To enter the fort, you need an entry ticket of ₹100, and you also have to pay separately for parking. This massive fort, built of red sandstone, was constructed by Sawai Jai Singh II to protect Amer Fort. This fort is also known as the Fort of Victory. All the weapons and ammunition used in warfare were manufactured in this fort. This fort is also very vast; it has different courtyards. The further you go inside, you'll think the fort has ended, but you'll enter a new complex. There's also a small maze here. Friends, when you reach the very last end of the fort, the views of Jaipur from here are breathtaking. The security perimeter of high walls stretching over a 3 km range is also a sight to behold. The views of Amer Palace from here are also very beautiful. Now we'll go to the other end of the fort where the pride of the fort, the Jaivana cannon, is kept. Friends, this cannon is considered the largest cannon in the world, capable of firing up to a range of approximately 50 km. This massive cannon weighs 50 tons. You can sit on the fort wall here and admire the beautiful views. The sunset views from here are also very special. A large crowd gathers here to witness the sunset.
After exploring this lovely fort, we will now go to Nahargarh Fort. Friends, Nahargarh Fort is a very famous fort in Jaipur. This beautiful fort was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh in 1734 AD, and then it was further expanded in 1868. From here, you can see the entire city of Jaipur. The views of Jaipur from here are very captivating. In the evenings, this place gets very crowded with people coming to see the sunset views. Friends, this fort is named after Nahar Singh Bhumia. Earlier, this fort was called Sudarshan Garh Fort. You can visit the wax museum here, and there is also a Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace) which you can explore. Besides these places,
you can also visit Akshardham Temple, Birla Temple, Albert Hall Museum, Kanak Garden, Moti Dungri, Jaipur Zoo, and many other places in Jaipur.
So, let's talk about the best time to visit Jaipur. You can visit Jaipur any time of the year, but it gets very crowded between October and April. This is considered the best time to visit.
Now let's talk about the most important question: the budget. How much budget will you need to cover this lovely trip? Friends, I assume that at least two people will be traveling together.
