Introduction

Prem Mandir, located in Vrindavan (Uttar Pradesh), is a spectacular temple dedicated to Lord Radha-Krishna and Lord Sita-Ram. The temple was established by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj and opened to the public in 2012. It is often referred to as the “Temple of Divine Love” and attracts devotees and tourists from across the world.


Architecture & Features

  • The entire structure is built with white Italian marble, which gives it a glowing appearance both in daylight and under night lights.

  • The temple walls are engraved with detailed carvings that portray Lord Krishna’s pastimes – including Ras Leela, lifting Govardhan Hill, and subduing Kaliya Naag.

  • Inside the sanctum, the first floor houses the idols of Radha-Krishna, while the second floor is dedicated to Sita-Ram.

  • Around the temple, visitors can admire lush gardens, fountains, and sculpted tableaux narrating stories from the Ramayana and Mahabharata.


Special Attractions

  • Musical Fountain Show: In the evenings, a sound-and-light fountain show presents devotional songs synchronized with colorful water jets.

  • Illumination: At night, the temple is lit up with vibrant LED lights, making it appear almost celestial.

  • Parikrama Path: Devotees can walk around the temple on a beautifully designed pathway surrounded by statues and scenes from Krishna Leela.


Festivals & Celebrations

  • The temple comes alive during Janmashtami, celebrated with elaborate decorations, devotional singing, and massive gatherings.

  • Radhashtami and Ram Navami are also celebrated with great devotion.

  • On festival days, thousands of visitors gather to participate in prayers and witness the temple’s divine beauty.

    • Evening: 4:30 PM – 8:30 PM

  • Entry Fee: No charges for entry.

  • Best Time to Visit: October to March (pleasant weather) or during Janmashtami festivities.

  • Location: Situated about 3–4 km from Vrindavan Railway Station and around 12 km from Mathura city.
