The non-stop bus starts from Kashmiri Gate ISBT, Delhi at 12:15 pm and reaches Leh at 7:00 pm the next day. This service has started from 12 June 2024. HRTC officials claim that the new bus service between Delhi and Leh is getting a very good response and is earning around Rs 1.23 lakh per day. According to them, this service has the potential to further boost tourism in Kullu and Lahaul and Spiti districts. But it can benefit not only tourists from the plains but also local people, laborers as well as army personnel.
It is also said that although bus services were present earlier, the response was not that strong earlier because it required a night halt in Keylong.
