Three drivers and two operators provide services Three drivers and two operators of the corporation will provide services on the Leh-Delhi route. On departure from Leh, the first driver takes the bus to Keylong. The second driver will provide his services from Keylong to Bilaspur (first from Keylong to Sundernagar) and the third driver from Bilaspur to Delhi. It is served by two operators. The Keylong Depot of the Himachal Road Transport Corporation will operate the Leh-Delhi bus on the country's longest and highest route from June 2. Bus operations for Leh will start as soon as the corporation management gets permission from the district administration. The district administration has allowed the Manali-Sarchu-Leh road to be opened for all vehicles from June 1. Provided, conditions remain favorable on that side. It may be noted that on June 15 last year, bus service for Delhi-Manali-Sarchu-Leh was started. This time the bus will start on time. This will create a new record in the name of the corporation. Passengers will be able to travel 1,026 km from Leh to Delhi for just Rs 1,740. On this route of 30 hours duration, there is an opportunity to visit Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Leh Ladakh. This time tourists from India and abroad will enjoy the exciting bus journey between Leh-Delhi in the beginning of June itself. Regional Manager of HRTC Keylong Depot, Anshit Sharma told that if the movement of all vehicles starts for Leh via Sarchu on June 1. In such a situation, bus service will be started between Delhi-Leh from June 2.

Travelers will enjoy the passes in the journey of 30 hours, on the Manali-Leh road, travelers will be exposed to beautiful views of 16,500 feet high Baralacha, 15,547 feet Nakilla, 17,480 feet Tanglangla and 16, 616 feet high Lachung Pass. Last year the bus service on this route was stopped in September. Now the bus service will start again from June 2.

First day
Departure from Delhi (Kashmiri Gate Bus Stand): 3:45 pm
Departure from Chandigarh Sector 43: 9:30 pm

Second day
Departure from Kullu: 6:00 am
Departure from Manali: 7:30 am
Arrival at Keylong: 1:30 pm

This bus will reach Keylong at 1:30 PM and will stay overnight at Keylong. To spend the night in Keylong, you will find many small and big hotels, dharamshalas, dormitories etc.

Day 3
This bus will leave from Keylong at 5:00 am and reach Leh by 7:00 pm.

Thus in three days, it will reach you from Delhi to Leh. One more thing, this bus will stop for 10 minutes at all the major passes so that you can get out and enjoy nature.

Departure from Leh at 4:00 am and reach Keylong by 6:00 pm.
Night stay will be in Keylong only.

Second day
Departure from Keylong: 6:30 am
Departure from Manali: 1:25 pm

How will the booking be done?

Since it is difficult to predict the weather conditions for traveling from Manali to Leh, online booking for this bus service is not available. Tickets will be available only at the ticket counter. Therefore it is advised to reach Maharana Pratap Interstate Bus Stand Kashmiri Gate (Delhi) 1 hour before the commencement of the journey.
